HMD Skyline, a smartphone that lets users repair it themselves, launched in India

HMD Global has launched its new smartphone, the HMD Skyline, in India. Priced at Rs 35,999, it will be available starting September 17 on Amazon.in, HMD’s website, and retail stores. The phone comes in two colors: Twisted Black and Neon Pink. As a special offer, buyers will get a free 33W Type-C fast charger.
Easy to Repair
One of the standout features of the HMD Skyline is how easy it is to repair. Thanks to Gen2 Repairability, users can fix the phone themselves at home. By simply turning one screw, they can pop open the back cover and access the phone’s parts, like the battery. This design is perfect for people, especially Gen Z, who prefer devices they can repair on their own.
The HMD Skyline’s battery is made to last. It can go up to 48 hours on a single charge and still hold 80% of its capacity after 800 full charges. The phone also supports wireless charging with Qi2-compatible chargers, making it more convenient to power up.
